The Sacred 1 ClosedNet servers will be shut down on February 01, 2009

Dear Community,

All good things must eventually end, and we are at the end of such an era now. The free Ascaron provided Sacred 1 ClosedNet gameservers will no longer be available as of February 01, 2009 (this affects all ClosedNet servers except Spanish and Italian). The lobby will remain running so that players can continue to access OpenNet.

Please note that if you want to export your ClosedNet characters for use in OpenNet you will need to login to ClosedNet and export them before the shutdown date. Characters can not be exported from the lobby, so once the gameservers are shut down you will not be able to export the characters any more.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience and disappointment this causes players, however it can not be avoided. You are a wonderful community, and we hope you have fun on the Sacred 2 servers.
